The life changing magic of tidying up by Marie Kondo

This was the very first book I read related to minimalism and simplifying. I fell in love with the concept and started applying it to my life right away. Several years later, I still use Kondo’s method to organize and declutter.

Spark joy by Marie Kondo (This is the 2nd book)

If you read her 1st book then you will like this one too! Spark joy goes more into detail and shows you how to fold clothing etc. I still like the first book the best, but I have heard others saying that they liked the second book better.

The Minimalist Home by Joshua Becker

Joshua Becker is really down to earth and I love his style. He calls his method of organizing and decluttering The Becker Method. I primarily use Kondo’s method, but I also use the Becker method along with it. If you want room by room decluttering and organizing steps this book is for you!

If reading isn’t for you, Marie Kondo has a Netflix show and Joshua Becker has a YouTube channel. I hope you enjoy!

When was the last time you cleaned through your closet? Do you have a method that you follow to organize and declutter?
